“Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name.
*And every_day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus*” Acts 5:41-42
As we are discussing The Crux of the Gospel, I would want to remind you on this as well.
How do you take persecution and mockery for being a disciple of Jesus?
How do you take the challenges that confront you just because you are born again?
“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.” John 15:18-21 (KJV)
Beloved as long as you are in Christ and you stand for the name of the Lord, you will be opposed.
You will not be loved by this world.
You will be mocked and be told the Church has taken all your time or you’re wasting your time with this Jesus thing.
It is not new.
Isn’t it funny that people don’t complain bitterly when you are engaged in things that don’t build your life?
When you spend all your time under the control of this “unemployment driven schooling system”, they would clap for you.
Being in Church is being in a school as well. Because you are raised to understand the purpose, the plan and the pursuit of life as designed by God.
And as a fellow in Christ, you should as well make time for your education in Christ.
Through the Church you are trained to go out there to influence your world and also teach others.
You have a course and it’s CHRIST!
Therefore, learn and teach Christ.
The world wouldn’t understand this, and you are not to allow yourself to be a victim of their ignorance.
What is your reaction when you feel dishonored because of the gospel of our Lord Jesus?
Do you rejoice or regret serving the Lord?
Beloved, the true disciples of Jesus, take delight in serving Him and announcing Him irrespective of the opposition.
” So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.” Acts 5:41 (NKJV)
Understand this, there is nothing in this world designed for your advantage as a Member of the Body of Christ.
Everything is designed to oppose your faith in Christ.
“Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you.” 1 John 3:13 (ESV).
Until you make a decision to create an important space of time in your 24hours for the LORD’S AGENDA, you will end up doing nothing for the Lord.
Be driven by the desire of the LORD.
Anything apart from the LORD will be shaken and pass away.
Stand up for JESUS and His Kingdom, for it cannot be shaken and its forever more.
“whose voice shook the earth at that time; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” And this, “Yet once more,” signifies the removing of the things being shaken, as having been created, so that the things not being shaken should remain. Therefore, receiving a kingdom not to be shaken, we may have grace, by which we may serve God well pleasingly, with fear and reverence.For also, our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:26-29 (Berean Literal Bible).
Be involved in the business of the Kingdom everyday of your life.
Be vocal about Jesus.
Teach Him and Preach Him every where.
Don’t say, “I am shy”.
Don’t say “I am busy”.
Don’t say “If I preach they will laugh at me.”
Don’t say, “I will preach next week”.
Don’t say, “I will preach tomorrow.”
Don’t say, “I will preach when I am free and I feel like it”.
Don’t say, “Here, they don’t want to hear the gospel so I wouldn’t preach”.
” Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not.” 2 Timothy 4:2 (NLT)
Don’t say, “My work is to finance the gospel, not to preach.”
Don’t say, “I will wait for a special day of outreach.”
Don’t say, “I came here to this office for money, so let me make my money and go.”
Precious one, wherever you find yourself, it is the Lord who has sent you there for His purpose.
“ But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us spreads and makes evident everywhere the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of Him.” 2 Corinthians 2:14 (Amplified Bible)
Make Him known. Announce Jesus. Tell all about His wondrous works.
” But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you” 2 Timothy 4:5 (NLT)
Be driven by His love and be intentional to bear kingdom fruits.
Declare the power of His resurrection, and make men know how they are justified and how they are loved by the Lord. Let them see the beauty of the gospel.
This is how you expand the kingdom.
The “early Church” preached and taught the name of Jesus, EVERYDAY!
I am not talking about you inviting people to church, or preaching to someone who already attends another Church.
Win a soul for JESUS. Talk to someone who is not born again.
Get someone saved for God desires that all men shall be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:4)
Have you preached Jesus, today?

– I preach the gospel and declare the power of the resurrection of Jesus.
– Because my gospel is not in vain by Jesus’ resurrection, I preach with joy and boldness.

– I minister Christ and fulfill the ministry He has entrusted into my hand.
– I don’t live as a victim of the world. I belong to an unshakable kingdom.
– I am not afraid of persecution.
– I do the work of an evangelist.

I have a course and it’s CHRIST!
Therefore, I learn and teach Christ.

I know whom I serve
I rejoice serving the Lord

Oh thank you Lord Jesus! I am set for the defense of the gospel. I make excuses for the sake of the Gospel. I am willing and determined to preach with all boldness and utterance and patience by the supply of the Spirit!
I don’t live as a victim of the world. I belong to an unshakable kingdom.
I am not afraid of persecution.
I do the work of an evangelist.
I don’t stop teaching about Jesus Christ.
In the name of the Lord, I will not be afraid to suffer dishonor.
When I encounter various challenges and temptations, I am unmoved. According to His Word, I am certain that no temptation is beyond man’s control.
You have been overcome by no man-made temptation. Because he is faithful, God will not allow you to be tempted beyond your ability, but he will also provide a way out of the temptation so that you can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Our kingdom is not like the man’s kingdom, which can be overthrown. Ours lasts forever. Psalm 145:13 The Message (MSG): Your kingdom is an eternal kingdom; we serve God in a way that pleases Him. You are never removed from office by vote. GOD generally does what he says, and is benevolent in all that he does.
Lord Jesus, I am grateful that you guided me to victory through your name.
I make men realize that the gospel of Christ Jesus has given us victory.
In Colossians 2 verse 15
What’s more, the unfriendly sovereigns and rulers He shook off from Himself, and intensely showed them as His successes, when by the Get He won over them.
The fragrance of God’s knowledge is sweet.
You counted us faithful, enlisting us into your eternal plan (with a given mandate).
By the help of the Holy Spirit, we shall remain obedient to the heavenly vision; learning, teaching and preaching Christ, in all patience, boldness and divine utterances.

I don’t feel lazy to preach about my Father
I am not move by persecution
I belong to unshakable kingdom
Glorey be to God
I take advantage of every opportunity to preach Christ
I give my mind and make time for my education in christ
I do the work of an evangelist.
