HOW TO GET A SOUL SAVED 1 (ABUNDANT FRUIT-BEARERS 9)
“But a life lived loving God bears lasting fruit, for the one who is truly wise wins souls.” Proverbs 11:30 (The Passion Translation).
Jesus is God made flesh to dwell among men, as fully man and fully God. He humbled Himself to the cross and died a painful and shameful death. This was essentially by the purpose of His love.
Jesus’ resurrection, brought forth the newness of life. This life is now the life received and lived by many who believe and receive Him.
Which means the newness of life is the product or the fruit of His love. This life also carries His seed of love. And now those who have the newness of life, have the supplied ability of Christ to also bear fruits of love. His love influences you to demonstrate God’s wisdom in winning souls.
See how the Amplified Bible puts it.
“The fruit of the [consistently] righteous is a tree of life, And he who is wise captures and wins souls [for God—he gathers them for eternity” Proverbs 11:30.
Soul winning is a demonstration of God’s wisdom.
Every where you go, you must have the intention to win a soul. That was what Jesus demonstrated. Whenever and wherever He saw the multitudes, He saw the need to win a soul. He had genuine compassion for the lost. (Matthew 9:36-38).
In every place you find yourself, the knowledge of Christ must be announced. See what Paul the apostle said,
“But thanks be to God, who always leads us triumphantly as captives in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.“ 2 Corinthians 2:14 (Berean Standard Bible)
We are to diffuse the savour of His knowledge in every place.
Let this be your daily experience.
You may ask, how do I win a soul? Or How do I get a soul saved?
What i will share is not to put you in a box. The Holy Spirit is the Lord of the harvest (Matthew 9:38). His operations through you must not be caged, though we can be guided with some scriptural examples.
There are different mediums the Lord can lead and inspire you to reachout to a soul.
Moreover, you don’t win a soul only by reading. When you read or listen to a teaching, you maybe stirred up to reachout. You only become an effective soul winner by experience. Until you start winning a soul you will not master the skill to get others saved.
Now In John 4:5-42
We see two examples and approach in Soulwinning.
The first was demonstrated through Jesus, Our Master Soulwinner.
The second, was by the Samaritan lady.
Let’s start with the second.
1. Share Your Experience with the People You know.
After Jesus got the Samaritan to believe in Him; she left into the city to announce to the men.
She said, “Come, see a Man…” (John 4:29).
Take Note:
1a. She went to her city (Samaria). She didn’t start by going to Judea.
Go to your immediate sphere. Go to your friends, office colleagues, course mates etc. Go to your relatives.
1b. She went to speak to the men. (John 4:28) From my observation, I suppose she’s had more interaction with the men. She’s already had five husbands. (John 4:16-18)
Start with those you easily interact with or can influence
1c. Be mentally occupied, enthusiastic and hyper or joyful about what the Lord has done for you and in you. Don’t be shy or ashamed. For you have the goodnews
She didn’t just leave into the city, she was enthusiastic to the extent that, she left her waterpot. All that was on her mind was her experience with Jesus. (John 4:28)
1d. Convincingly share your deepest testimony or heartfelt experience with as many as you can. Yet keep it simple
She was so convincing that, many of the Samaritans believed in Jesus, because of the words of her testimony. (John 4:39).
1e. Don’t only share or get them to believe. Invite them or get them to Church meetings where they can hear more truth and have their personal experience of Jesus.
” So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. And many more believed because of His own word. Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.”
Beloved, reproduce what Christ has produced in you. We are not sent forth by Christ to be sophisticated. We are to only diffuse the very fragrance of Christ.

I diffuse the fragrance of Christ in every place. I am hyper about Jesus. I shout His testimony to all men. Many believe in Jesus through me. Many respond to the gospel on my lips.
Thank you Lord Jesus. I reproduce the life Christ has produced in me. I don’t feel shy about Christ, I share Hos love to others every where I go. I diffuse the fragrance of His knowledge in my immediate sphere and Globally over the word. I operate in His love .
