YOUR PRICELESS PRIVILEGE AND SUPREME ADVANTAGE 1

“Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.”

Philippians 3:8 (NKJV)

Lives and destinies are sustained by knowledge. And the relevance, advancement and influence of men are determined by their level of knowledge.

Who you are, is not a great threat as compared to when you know who you are.

When you are born to be a king and you have zero knowledge of it, you cannot function as a king.

What you know is what makes the difference. This is not just a phenomenon among men. This is a reality in God and in the spirit. Your greatest limitation is your ignorance. The dimension of knowledge you operate in, defines your manifestation of purpose.

The greatest thing to happen to you, is to grow in the rich knowledge of Christ.

Until the appearing of Christ, it was the Jews who were referred to as the people of God (Deuteronomy 7:6-8). They had a covenant with God through the circumcision of the flesh, the oracles and the law of God were committed to them. They were reckoned as the worshippers of God. The prophetic word of the Lord concerning the Messiah was entrusted to them.

Now the law which was given them, was their greatest revelation of God. And they esteemed their attempts to keep the law, as means unto righteousness.

Now in Philippians chapter 3, Paul (the apostle) outlined these credentials and reckoned them as nothing as compared to the REVELATION OF JESUS.

No matter how the Jews boasted in their relationship with God through the laws and their circumcision, they never experienced the complete fullness of the knowledge of God.

To the Jews it was a mystery they couldn’t decode. Though the oracles of God were first entrusted to them, they saw them as an unsearchable riches of wisdom.

Therefore when Paul encountered Jesus, he beheld the glory which transcends the one distributed through the law of Moses. For the glory of the law fades away (2 Corinthians 3:7-18). The light of the knowledge of the glory of God shines in the face of Jesus. Until you behold and know the Lord Jesus, you cannot experience the transcending glory of God.

In Christ Jesus, we have the priceless privilege and access to the deepest revelation of God.

“But whatever former things were gains to me [as I thought then], these things [once regarded as advancements in merit] I have come to consider as loss [absolutely worthless] for the sake of Christ [and the purpose which He has given my life]. But more than that, I count everything as loss compared to the priceless privilege and supreme advantage of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord [and of growing more deeply and thoroughly acquainted with Him—a joy unequaled]. For His sake I have lost everything, and I consider it all garbage, so that I may gain Christ” Philippians 3:7-8 (Amplified Bible).

The things considered as advancement by Jews are worthless and to be counted as loss, in comparison to the excellency or priceless privilege and supreme advantage of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord.

The knowledge of Christ is the summit of God revealed.

Look, the more you know Jesus, the more you assimilate the reality of the highest power and authority of the entire universe (of things in Heaven, on earth and under the earth. The authority which supersedes all principalities and powers).

No wonder the epistle reckons your growth in the knowledge of Christ as priceless privilege and supreme advantage.

Make it your daily desire to grow in the knowledge of Jesus.

Shalom.

Isaiah 11 verse 18 Because the Lord revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing. 19 I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying,“Let us destroy the tree and its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name be remembered no more.” This scripture brings Christ Jesus, our Lord and personal saviour into mind that although He knew the pain ahead, He went through the process for I and you. Gloreeeeeeeeeeeeey!!!Let us use one minute to thank Christ for making us born again. Shabakabashakababa

Jeremiah 12 verse 12 “Say to them: ‘This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Every wineskin should be filled with wine.’ And if they say to you, ‘Don’t we know that every wineskin should be filled with wine?
This scripture by inspiration has thought me about the Holy Spirit desiring to fill all men. I heard in my spirit to go back to Luke. Let us see what it says;
Luke 5:37-39 NKJV
And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.
So before one can receive the Holy Spirit one must be born again.

Jeremiah 12 Look up and see
those who are coming from the north.
Where is the flock that was entrusted to you,
the sheep of which you boasted?
God is going to demand the sheep that was entrusted to us
