THE GOSPEL BRINGS TRANSFORMATION

” For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. Romans 1:16 (NLT)

It is not any message at all that brings salvation.
Salvation is in the gospel of Jesus.
When you see and hear the evil and the wrongs going on with people in this generation, you may be tempted to think it is the preaching of condemnation, which will get people saved from their evil ways.
Telling people how wrong and evil they are is not what brings salvation.
This is not to say, you may not have to help people realise their wrongs and their need for salvation.
There are people whose eyes have been blinded and they easily justify and defend their wrongs and evil ways.
Truly, Jesus did not justify any wrongs. Jesus made justification available for all men who believe.
However, you need to get this, the message which bring salvation is not the declaration of the wrongs of people.
The message which brings true Salvation is not telling people about the horror of hell. Nobody has to receive Jesus on the grounds of fear.
He came to bring Salvation on the grounds of love (John 3:16).
The gospel is not the declaration of the wrongs you see.
The gospel (goodnews) is what God has done for us through Christ Jesus.
I heard someone tell another fellow concerning the preaching of the gospel.
And was like, “it is not about the message you preach, it is how you get someone saved by all means.”
Beloved in Christ, the Lord did not just give us the ministry of reconciliation, He also gave the message of reconciliation.

” Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation “. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 (NKJV)

Alright, see how 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 is presented in the Living Bible:
All these new things are from God who brought us back to himself through what Christ Jesus did. And God has given us the privilege of urging everyone to come into his favor and be reconciled to him. For God was in Christ, restoring the world to himself, no longer counting men’s sins against them but blotting them out. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others.”

You didn’t come into relationship with God or experience Sonship in Christ, by your self efforts. You were not saved by your self efforts or what you did by the works of legalism.
It was what Jesus did in His death and resurrection that got you saved. He died as the lamb of God for the forgiveness of your sins.
The message is Christ and His work through His death and resurrection.
There are no TWO GOSPELS. We must only TESTIFY OF THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS. (Read more by clicking on the links).
The gospel is the light of the knowledge of God in the face of Jesus.
Why then do you proclaim darkness if men
are yearning and are in need for LIGHT?
The gospel is the reality of Jesus whom we preach. Preaching and teaching the goodnews of Jesus is the ministry of Righteousness. It points men to JESUS and not to their defeated and beaten past and corruptibility.
The ministry of condemnation points men to their weaknesses.
It is more revealing and life-transforming, to preach Christ than to preach the crisis of the now.
When you come to the true knowledge of the gospel of Christ and your mind is saturated with the grace of God, you will live right.
Right living is the product of the reality of Christ’s goodnews in your heart.
Hallelujah
DIG DEEPER:
(Romans 2:3-4; Romans 1:15-17; Luke 2:10-11; 1 Corinthians 2:1-2;)

WE PRAY
That doors shall be opened for the teaching and preaching of the transforming power of the gospel in all places.

BIBLE READING
Day 78: Judges 4-6

DECLARE THESE WORDS:
– I experience the transforming power of the gospel.
– I walk in the consciousness of all that Christ achieved for me.
– I boast in the finished work of Christ on the cross and not in my self-efforts.
– The gospel of Jesus spreads through me.
– I make the goodnews of Jesus my focus.
OH Hallelujah, GLORY TO GOD!!!

Glory to the Most High God. I walk in the consciousness of God’s word and power
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know…his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.(Ephesians 1:18-23 )

Christ is the message. Christ is our message. Him alone we preach, no addition, no subtraction. We lead men to Christ by preaching Christ.

Thank you Lord Jesus.

Thank you Apostle for this opportunity
I have learned that,
Thank you for bringing me salvation on the grounds of love, Lord Jesus.
The gospel has the capability to save everyone.
I do not preach with sentiments.
I have come to the realization that the true and unadulterated gospel births right living which is a testimony of right living.
So God has not given me just the ministry of reconciliation but also the message of reconciliation.
Wow, God was working in man not counting our wrongs against us and has given us the message of reconciliation. 2nd Corinthians 5 verse 19
I was not saved by my self effort but it was Christ and His death and the work of His resurrection.
Teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ leads men saved. It is better than preaching condemnation and the works of the law.

Wow, In Romans 2 verses 3 to 4, I learned that
I have no excuse for wrong living as I am In Christ. It is not because God is kind or tolerant so I can do whatever I feel like doing. Whatever, I preach, I must do it. God is not only interested in me preaching the message of reconciliation but also in being a doer of the Word.
Also, I learned the gospel is received by pure faith in Christ Jesus alone and not in our works as seen in Romans 1 verses 15 to 17
I am not ashamed of the gospel, it is our JOY. Oh, thank you, Lord.
The gospel is our raw source of joy.
The gospel goes beyond eloquence and human wisdom.

I walk in the consciousness of all that Christ has done for me
It is so amazing that my Lord Jesus Christ was richly supplied but for our sake, He became poor so that we will become rich.
2nd Corinthians 8 verse 9
9 For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor, and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sake He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied).
Some inspiring scriptures from the Daily Bible reading plan
In Judges 4 verses 14 and 15
The Lord has given into possession a great inheritance He has predestined for us- a great spoil.
The Lord himself is working in partnership with us to do valiant things that we thought by our strength we could not do. But it was the strength of the most High God working through us.
In Judges 5 some lines that inspired me,
I will praise the Lord
The mountains quake in your presence.
I take my place as a warrior for the LORD.
I recite the victories of the Lord.
I take captive of my captives.
From the heavens the stars fought,
from their courses they fought against Sisera.- my obstacles and enemies
But may all who love you be like the sun
when it rises in its strength.”
Judges 6 verses 16 The Lord answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.”- Oh boi, the Lord is always with me
Judges 6 verse 24 So Gideon built an altar to the Lord there and called it The Lord Is Peace. To this day it stands in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.- I honour God with my altar, offering and sacrifices.
39 Then Gideon said to God, “Do not be angry with me. Let me make just one more request. Allow me one more test with the fleece, but this time make the fleece dry and let the ground be covered with dew.” 40 That night God did so. Only the fleece was dry; all the ground was covered with dew- God is indeed a merciful God , amidst all the questions and requests Gideon asked, he was not charged with unbelief. We indeed serve a living God
