CHRIST YOUR TRUE PASSOVER 1
” …For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us…”
The first time the Passover was instituted (in Exodus 12) God’s people (Israel) were delivered from Egypt.
In the verses, 50-51:
“All the people of Israel did just as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron. And on that very day the Lord brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.“ (ESV)
Amidst all the ten (10) plagues which took place in Egypt — water turning to blood, frogs, lice, flies, livestock pestilence, boils, hail, locusts, darkness, and the killing of firstborn children. It was the killing of the firstborn which was the masterstroke.
And God’s strategy to deliver the people of Israel from the judgment which was coming upon the land of Egypt was the Passover.
The Passover represents God’s people being delivered.
And for them to be delivered, there has to be a sacrifice in their place.
Killing the lambs for each household and putting their blood on their post, declares that someone has already died in this house, therefore no one has to die.
Jesus also delivered us from the power of darkness, through His blood.
” He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption [through His blood, the forgiveness of sins”. Colossians 1:13-14 (ESV).
The Passover foreshadowed, Christ who is the substance of the scriptures.
” You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.” John 5:39 (WEB)
All that were written from Moses all through to the Prophets, testifies of Jesus.
This passover became a yearly festival. It was not a festival just for the remembrance and celebration of what happened in Egypt. It was essentially about their yearly sacrifices for their sins. And yet they were not perfected. (Hebrews 10:1-4)
But Jesus’ one-time sacrifice for us perfected us.
” But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.” Hebrews 10:12,14 (ESV)
Interestingly, there are some even in this age, looking forward to the coming of the Messiah to bring deliverance to Israel and mankind.
But our Lord Jesus came about 2000 years ago. Yes! He shall return, not to die for us again but to reign with His saints in everlasting glory.
During His last entry into Jerusalem, He fulfilled all the prophecies concerning His death (see Episode 70), which shall bring deliverance to God’s people and make them partakers of the divine life.
Jesus is the Perfect lamb that was CONDEMNED ONCE and for ALL.
My dear in Christ, you should know that as the lamb of God was judged for you; God CANNOT CONDEMN You.

Oh Thank You Lord Jesus. Christ is the perfect sacrifice for me so I’m justified. Justification is a blessing
Heb.10.14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Thank you LORD JESUS..
I am Perfected Forever
I focus on Christ who is the substance of TRUTH
Jesus is the Perfect lamb that was CONDEMNED ONCE and for ALL.
I know that as the lamb of God was judged for me; God CANNOT CONDEMN me anymore.
