GOD IS FOR YOU
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”
Romans 8:31 (NKJV)
The opening verse of today’s Machaira with Apostle Bennie, has one of the most profound questions you will find in the Bible.
“If God be for us who can be against us?”
Have you found yourself in a situation where it feels like there is no help for you, and you are all alone?
Such moments seem to be real. But if you are born again in Christ, that cannot be your reality.
One of the assurances the Lord wants you to have is that HE IS FOR YOU and HE IS ON YOUR SIDE!
God doesn’t only want you to know that you are His; He also wants you to know that He is FOR YOU.
It doesn’t matter which area of your life the adversary will scheme to make you feel helpless; let your heart be settled on this certainty that the Lord is with you, on your side and for you.
When you feel accused and guilty, know that the Lord is your mediator and the Judge who is on your side.
When you seem to be opposed by men, let not your heart be troubled.
When his servant felt helpless because he saw that they were surrounded by an army of horses and chariots; the Man of God Elisha said to him:
“Do not be afraid,” Elisha answered, “for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” (2 Kings 6:16)
What a mindset!
Physical there were no other people with them. But when the eyes of the man of God’s servant opened, he saw chariots of fire.
The Psalmist said, “The LORD is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” (Psalm 118:6)
This is the consciousness the Lord wants you to have as you go through your day.
He says, “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” (Isaiah 41:10)
God is for you, therefore you are not condemned.
God is for you, therefore you cannot be helpless.
God is for you, therefore you are not weak.
In all the challenges you will face, remember, that you are more than a conqueror; because the Lord is your Victory.
