The Complete Armor Of God 5
“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness”
Ephesians 6:14 (KJV)
The Belt of Truth as the foundational or essential armor for a Kingdom Soldier:
– Provides support to the believer. A Roman Soldier carries more gear, and he can remain stable, strong and upright with the aid of the belt.
– Secondly, the belt of truth also provides ease of movement. When a soldier tucks his tunic into the belt it makes him ready and prepared to function. Every Believer must fasten their minds with the Belt of Truth which is the revelation of the Word.
Another interesting function of the Belt of Truth is how it serves as the carrier of a soldier’s equipment or gear. This is why the soldier’s belt is a primary gear.
With the belt, the soldier finds a place to sheath his sword.
Even contemporary soldiers place a lot of value on their belts, which bear their pistols, knives etc.
When a Roman soldier’s loin belt is not in place it will have a negative effect on his preparedness for battle.
The Roman soldier’s sword hangs in a scabbard attached to the side of the belt. The breastplate is attached to the belt to put it in the right position. Even the shield hangs on a special clip on the other side of his belt, mostly when the soldier is marching to war and the shield is not in use.
The belt of truth is foundational because everything we do is founded on the dimension of truth we have received.
Truth is absolute.
And every believer must delve into knowing the truth, which is Christ Jesus.
The knowledge of the truth is your freedom (John 8:32)
Let your mind be established in Truth.
You are not well equipped and ready for war when you don’t know the Truth.
The adversary will seek to deceive you into fear, doubt, unbelief, worry, depression and failure.
However the more you are established in truth, the more you express the glory of God.
Truth is the revelation of Jesus. Grow in the knowledge of Christ daily.

The knowledge of the truth (who is Jesus Christ) sets you free.
We have true freedom by the word
Truth is the revelation of Jesus.
Hence I take delight in knowing Jesus than even myself.

I continue steadfastly in the knowledge of the absolute truth of Christ.
I continue steadfastly in three knowledge of Jesus
With the belt of truth,I maintain balance.
I receive the revelation of Christ
As I fellowship with the word of God daily, Christ is revealed to me more and more.

I receive the revelation of Jesus with meekness of heart.
My life is guided by the truth of God which is the word of God.
My life is guided by the truth Of God
I don’t give my hearing to any doctrine which contradicts the knowledge of Christ.
I esteem the Word of God in my life than any other thing.
Everything we do is founded on the dimension of truth we have received.
I choose to build my life on the truth ( revelation) of Christ!

It is so amazing how the belt of truth is rather the primary armor in a soldiers life

This series on the Complete Armour of God is really opening my eyes to rich verities in the matter addressed in Ephesians 6:14
