PUT ON THE COMPLETE ARMOR OF GOD 2
“Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil”
Ephesians 6:11 (AMPC)
Beloved, the only weapon of the adversary is deception. Through his deceptive schemes, the adversary lures men even believers into his web of darkness and defeat.
Through his deceptive schemes, he causes believers to live in fear and defeat instead of functioning with great authority and in the victory of Christ.
Our Lord Jesus didn’t only give us His victory, He also provided us with all the complete armor we need to withstand the wiles of the devil.
Our role now is to know and put them on as we walk in our victory daily.
The believer is not only a citizen of Heaven (Philippians 3:20) and a son of God (1 John 3:2).
The believer is also a soldier in Christ (2 Timothy 2:3-4).
And as soldiers of Christ we have our special armor by which we withstand the adversary.
“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:13-18 (NKJV).
From these verses, Paul the apostle listed the whole armor of God, and instructed the brethren to put them on:
1. Truth to gird your waist.
2. Righteousness as your breastplate.
3. Preparation of the gospel of peace to shod your feet.
4. Faith as a shield to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
5. Salvation as a helmet.
6. The word of God as the sword of the Spirit.
7. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.
With these armor, you are fully fortified against the devil’s attacks and resourced enough to terrorize the forces of darkness.
You are not an unprotected soldier. All that is required for you to be a prevailing soldier has been provided by the Lord.
The complete armor is yours, you don’t have to look for them nor beg God for it.
Yours is to put them on and function in them.

Glory to God. I am victorious in Christ. I walk in this consciousness daily. I put on the whole Armour of God and Function in them as a soldier in Christ. Thank you Lord Jesus.

I’m not just a son of God or a citizen of Heaven. I’M A SOLDIER OF CHRIST.
As a soldier, I make good use of the armor God has given me.
I put on the complete armor of God and I function in them. Thank you Jesus.
I have the knowledge of how to use my weapon effectively.
I live daily in the consciousness of my victory.
I refuse to be a victim of any evil scheme of the devil.
I war from a place of victory.
