WORKING THE WORD 7

“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach)”

Romans 10:8 (NKJV)

The Word of God works and does not fail.

And the unfailing potency of the Word is demonstrated by UTTERANCE.

You don’t work the Word by being silent, you work the Word by speaking.

That is the purpose of the Word in your heart.

God’s word doesn’t produce results until it is spoken.

At every given time when God wanted to bring His Word to pass, He had to speak what He wanted to produce.

There was nothing God created in Genesis, without first speaking into being. Your mouth is mainly an instrument in your body for speaking things into being.

The vocalizing or speaking of the Word is the highest point of meditation. At the point of the speech, the seed of the Word has blossomed.

The Word you vocalize at the peak of your meditation is not the same as when it was sown in your heart as a seed.

The words you utter at the peak of your meditation of the Word are saturated with deep and lasting impressions. They are words which go forth with faith and the strong certainty of manifestation.

These vocalized Words are called Rhema!

In the New Testament, there are two basic Greek words for “The Word of God”, these are “LOGOS” and “RHEMA”.

Logos refers to the person of the Word; Jesus the living Word (John 1:1) and also the aggregate inspired word or thoughts of God. (2 Timothy 3:16). Logos is the expression of the thoughts of God in speech or written form.

Whereas “Rhema” is that definite, specific and accurate word of God to you in the now. It is the present Word of God which has germinated in your heart and is burning on your lips.

When you read or study the scriptures, memorize a specific verse for regurgitation and internalization. As you continue thinking about the verse, mutter it to yourself till you begin to vocalize and shout it with joy.

At this point, the power of the Word has been activated through meditation. It is now more than a seed, it becomes a weapon of faith (the Rhema word is both a shield and a sword). When you speak forth the Word as Rhema, it becomes a farmer’s sickle or a reaping-hook.

The Word goes into your heart as a seed, and through meditation, it comes out as the rhema word for harvesting.

Which area of your life are you seeing challenges and problems?

Get the Word of God into your heart as a seed.

Meditate on it until you take hold of the Rhema in your heart.

And then speak it out with boldness to harvest your answers.

“For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.” Psalm 33:9 (ESV)

Oh glory to God, there is a shout in my spirit.

Beloved, until you speak forth the Word, you shall not see a performance.

No matter the matter, don’t speak your fears, don’t speak your challenges, SPEAK THE RHEMA OF GOD IN YOUR HEART!

This is how you see the working ability of the Word of God.

Hallelujah!

DIG DEEPER
(Psalm 107:20,25; Psalm145:15; Psalm 147:18; James 1:22-25; Psalm 119:11, Deuteronomy 6:5-6; 29:9; Isaiah 46:10)

WE PRAY
We pray that through the meditation of the Word, we will take hold of the definite Rhema for the now.

In the name of Jesus!

BIBLE READING IN THE YEAR 2024

Glory!

I realised that, even in our daily endeavours, the reality of a happening really hit the heart with much intensity when you begin to meditate on a matter. Suddenly, you catch yourself muttering and mummering. Sometimes it drives you to take an action, either offensive or defensive.

Indeed, the word works when we speak it out through diligent meditation.

All along people have made rhema look like it it higher than Logos. Now I understand that if you don’t have no logos, you can’t catch any rhema. And rhema spoken it the highest form of meditation..this is amazing reality

The power of every word is in it’s speaking.

Until one speaks the word, you will not see it happen. God himself had to speak to bring to bear what He wanted to see.

Take note that you don’t put square shapes in circular holes
So as you speak the word think in line with it because we can speak and think differently from our utterances and that will not yield results except his mercies makes it happen

But for consistent results speak as you think

The purpose of the word in my heart is that is to be worked. The word is not meant to be just cultivated in my heart but that its potency will be manifest through utterance.
Speaking the word is the highest point of meditation. At the speaking of that specific which was sown as a seed in my heart and has now become a rhema through intense medition, there is the release of power. Hallelujah!
