WHAT SHALL SEPARATE YOU?

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”

Romans 8:35 (NKJV)

Our salvation is first by the love of Christ. It was the love of Christ that moved Jesus to the cross, not our works.
By His saving grace and loving-kindness, God saved us and brought us into eternal fellowship with Jesus our Lord.
Hearing some brethren talk about losing their salvation and God turning His back on them is interesting. And they allude to God judging them according to their works. Most people judge their relationship with God by the standards of human relations.

God made it possible for you to have a family relationship with Him. You can grow your personal relationship with God (through your participation in church meetings, personal prayers, fellowship with the Word and the Spirit etc).
Nevertheless, you are not the sustainer of your relationship with God.
The love of God is the foundation of God’s relationship with you. And it’s kept by the faithfulness of God.

By God’s faithfulness, we are brought into fellowship with His Son, Jesus (1 Corinthians 1:9).

He forgives you from all wrongs by His faithfulness (1 John 1:9).

God, who called you into Himself is faithful to keep you blameless to the end. (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

God is faithful to keep you from falling away by His own ability. (Jude 1:24).

He didn’t just bring you into Himself, He established you in His life. He emptied His life into you and mingled you with Himself.
You were joined unto the Lord through the baptism of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13; Romans 6:3-4;)

“But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” 1 Corinthians 6:17 (NKJV).
Do you get it?
You were not just justified in Christ, you were not just brought into fellowship with the Lord, in that fellowship, you were joined or mingled with the Lord.

Now you cannot be separated from His love. You are not just a son of God, you are ONE SPIRIT WITH THE LORD.

Oh glory!

No wonder Jesus said
“I am the vine and you are the branches.” (John 15:5).

Listen, you are one with Christ and nothing can separate you from Christ.
This must be your persuasion.

Look what Paul the apostle wrote in the latter part of

Romans 8:
“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV)
Beloved, you must also have this persuasion that nothing can separate you from the love of Christ.
Hallelujah!
DIG DEEPER
(Romans 8:33-39; Psalm 103:17; Jeremiah 31:3; Songs of Solomon 3:4)

WE PRAY
– That our faith is established stronger in the Lord and His word that we shall stand firm in the reality of what He has achieved for us in Christ Jesus.

– That no challenge, no cosmic force nor thought can make us doubt the reality that we are eternally inseparable from Christ and His love.

BIBLE READING IN THE YEAR 2023
Psalm 115

DECLARE THESE WORDS:
– I am mingled with the Lord.

– I am in eternal fellowship with the Lord.

– No cosmic force can separate us from the love of Christ.

– We are persuaded of the love of Christ.

– We are deeply rooted in the Lord that nothing can uproot us from Him.

OH Hallelujah, GLORY TO GOD!!!
