LIVE IN THE CERTAINTY OF FAITH
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
How many times have you heard this verse of scripture?
I am sure maybe more than once or twice.
Usually the above verse of scripture is used as encouragement for those who have doubts about their future and what the Lord wants to do to help them.
Well, there is nothing wrong to encourage and inspire others about their future. Nevertheless, this sometimes leave people in the uncertainty of their future and lives subtly. A future you cannot see gives room for doubt.
This verse of scripture is not a statement to the men in faith. It is the declaration of the doubts people have concerning the word of the Lord. There are no uncertainties in faith. Faith is certain with no space for doubts.
Now take a look at this scripture contextual:
“We, of course, have plenty of wisdom to pass on to you once you get your feet on firm spiritual ground, but it’s not popular wisdom, the fashionable wisdom of high-priced experts that will be out-of-date in a year or so. God’s wisdom is something mysterious that goes deep into the interior of his purposes. You don’t find it lying around on the surface. It’s not the latest message, but more like the oldest—what God determined as the way to bring out his best in us, long before we ever arrived on the scene. The experts of our day haven’t a clue about what this eternal plan is. If they had, they wouldn’t have killed the Master of the God-designed life on a cross. That’s why we have this Scripture text:
No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this,
Never so much as imagined anything quite like it—
What God has arranged for those who love him.
But you’ve seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you“ 1 Corinthians 2:6-10 (The Message).
The scripture text, “eye has not seen, nor ear heard…” in 1 Corinthians 2:9 was a reference to a prophetic statement made by Prophet Isaiah (See 64:4) to defend the reality that the rulers of this world are ignorant of God and the workings of His wisdom.
You cannot bank your life on the systems of this world. Because there is so much uncertainty in this world. However you can trust and depend on the Wisdom of God.
With ” what God determined as the way to bring out his best in us, long before we ever arrived on the scene. The experts of our day haven’t a clue about what this eternal plan is.“
The Apostle Paul was making his audience understand:
1. The state of the rulers and the religious leaders in their day. They acted as though they knew what was best, yet they had no idea how God’s wisdom works.
So he continue to say:
” If they had, they wouldn’t have killed the Master of the God-designed life on a cross.”
That’s why we have this Scripture text:
No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this,
Never so much as imagined anything quite like it— What God has arranged for those who love him.
Does it make sense now?
The above text is not for those who are in the faith. Because those who are in the faith have the Holy Spirit who has brought them into the understanding of all that the Lord has established through His Wisdom.
Again, look at what he says about the brethren:
2. ” But you’ve seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you 1 Corinthians 2:10 (MSG).
Oh glory to God.
Do you see that?
For you in the faith there are no uncertainties. By the revelation of God’s word, your eyes have been enlightened to see. You have heard, imagined and fully received all that God has arranged for you.
Now it is more clearer what Paul says:
“ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” Romans 8:28
Say this loudly to yourself:
AND I KNOW

Beloved, you are not ignorant, you are not uncertain nor doubtful of the best things God has planned and deposited inside of you.
They are stamped and sealed in your spirit. You are not wishing for anything, you have them in all certainty through the Wisdom of Faith.
Whiles the people of this world live in doubt and uncertainty, walk in the SURETY OF THE REALITY OF GOD’S PLAN AND WISDOM IN YOUR SPIRIT.

And I know that all things work together for good to me that love God, to me who is called according to his purpose”
It is a KNOWING that God Loves me and has designed the best things for me.
I Live in the Certainty of my FAITH in JESUS.
I don’t doubt the glorious things the Lord has installed for me.
I have a glorious and secured Future In CHRIST.
I refuse to have any atom of doubt concerning this REALITY.

I refuse to walk in doubt My eyes have seen, my ears have heard, and it has occurred to my heart what God has prepared for those who love Him. I have an abundance of grace stored up for me in the future.
All things worked for my good because I love the Lord, and have been called to His purpose or promise.
Because my hope in the LORD does not put me to shame
I walk in the surety and reality of God’s plan,purpose and wisdom
[…] Don’t take it lightly, when you feel discouraged at any time towards the good course of the Lord. No matter the reason you have to justify your discouragement, you have to intercept it with faith. […]
