Job Description

A large, global hardware and software company is looking for a a UX researcher to help them understanding people needs and inspire innovation. As a UX researcher, you will work closely with the Design, Marketing and other business units to reveal user needs, validate new concepts and improve the experience of existing solutions. You will be in charge to set up and lead primary research projects exploring consumer behavior and motivation for enterprise software platforms.


The ideal candidate is an individual who is an excellent communicator and a flexible team player.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
* Define the research objectives and formulates research proposals
* Conducts studies like usability testing, field research, surveys, diary studies,
* Tests and gather UX data in accordance with established research plans and specifications; analyzes, describes, and reports results to design stakeholders.
* Analyzes qualitative and quantitative data and give actionable recommendations
* Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners driving alignment and ensuring quality of process and deliverables.
* Contributes to design expertise by actively participating in various product discussion sessions with the product designers, engineers, developers, and other subject matter experts.
* Upfront Market Research- Work with teams to research and validate new idea as well as testing the products after they are mad

-ideally a Master's or PhD- Anthropology, Sociology, HCI, CogSci, Psychology
3-7 as a UX Researcher
-experience a s Researcher for a software product
-experience doing formative, Qualitative and quantitative research
-ability to work and communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand research goals and create research studies
-Some kind of documented research experience or work samples
