The Position

As we continue to grow, we are looking for Podiatrists to provide Podiatric services to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout the Chicagoland area.

What You Will Do

• Assessing and diagnosing foot, ankle, and lower leg problems through physical exams, x rays, medical laboratory tests, and other methods.
• Provide treatment for foot, ankle, and lower leg ailments.
• Advise, educate, and instruct patients on foot and ankle care and on general wellness techniques to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life.
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other providers and the facilitys interdisciplinary team.
• Refer patients to other providers or specialists if you detect larger health problems, such as diabetes or vascular disease.

Other Duties And Responsibilities

• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments.
• Developing and implementing patient management policies and procedures.
• Facilitating referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
• Communicating with attending physicians and/or specialists regarding patient care.
• Be comfortable and proficient with documentation and CPT coding.

Compensation

• Our Podiatrists are paid a percentage of revenue - the larger your caseload and workload, the more you can earn. More details will be shared during the interview process.

Our Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and their loved ones.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership experience with emphasis on teamwork in a healthcare setting.
