POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\nThe Burn Program Manager is responsible for the coordination of the ABA (American Burn Association) Verified Burn Center. This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with ABA standards, and promotes multidisciplinary collaboration. The position will collaborate with Medical Directors, program leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate, monitor, promote, and evaluate the program’s components, oversee clinical operations, and lead quality improvement initiatives. The Burn Manager must possess clinical expertise in the burn patient population across the continuum of care, as well as demonstrate experience with program leadership.
\n\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
\n\nLICENSURE
\n\nState of Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
\n\nCurrent BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required.
\n\nTNCC Instructor within 18 months of hire.
\n\nABLS Instructor within 18 months of hire.
\n\nNational burn certification, specifically the Certified Burn Registered Nurse (CBRN) preferred. CBRN must be obtained and maintained within 18 months of hire.
