We're looking for a HV Electrician 1 in Bakersfield, CA - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What you'll do:

\n
• You'll be based out of our Bakersfield, CA service center.
\n
• Respond to major component failure escalations.
\n
• Carry out major component changes and field repairs.
\n
• Carry out advanced troubleshooting of electrical LV or HV systems.
\n
• Ensure the completion of major repairs are on time.
\n
• Travel position requiring 65% or more away from home traveling.
\n
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and have a current passport.
\n
• Ability to acquire and maintain a TWIC card.
\n
• HASC or chemical plants certification a plus.
\n

\n

You'll have the following skills and experience:

\n
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
\n
• 5 years of high and/or medium voltage experience.
\n
• Experience with refineries/government site protocols and requirement to enter and perform work.
\n
• Experience with HV test equipment.
\n
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
\n
