HSEQ Manager

Katoen Natie , a global leader in logistics, engineering, and port operations, delivers tailor-made solutions to the chemical, automotive, consumer goods, electronics, and retail sectors. With 181 logistics platforms in 40 countries and more than 18,000 employees worldwide, we continue to expand our U.S. operations. We are currently seeking a driven and experienced HSQE Manager to lead our Specialty Chemicals site in Lugoff, SC. In this key leadership role, you will oversee daily packaging, shipping, receiving, and housekeeping activities while driving health, safety, quality, and environmental excellence across the facility. You will work closely with operational and management teams to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and the highest standards of operational performance.

To be successful as our HSQE Manager, you should have:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent operational management experience
• Strong leadership background in industrial or chemical environments
• Deep understanding of quality standards and process compliance (QM28)
• Proficiency in operational software and systems
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions and perform physically demanding tasks as needed

Your responsibilities as the HSEQ Manager will include:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team across packaging, shipping, and technical operations
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Drive KPI performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage labor scheduling, planning, inventory control, and equipment use
• Conduct audits, lead team evaluations, and promote a culture of safety and accountability
• Collaborate closely with the Facility Manager and management team to resolve issues and optimize operations
