Emergency Department Physician (Full Time)

We are currently seeking a full-time Emergency Department Physician to join our dedicated team and provide emergent care to the community and surrounding areas of Newton, Kansas. In this role, you'll serve within our 11-bed Emergency Department , part of a 99-bed hospital located in South Central Kansas. Our emergency room serves approximately 15,000 patients per year , offering the opportunity to practice high-impact medicine in a supportive and well-equipped environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality emergent care to patients of all ages
• Leading patient care efforts in alignment with NMC Health quality initiatives
• Collaborating with the care team to ensure comprehensive treatment and smooth transitions of care
• Participating in quality and process improvement efforts within the Emergency Department

Work Schedule:

• Three (3) twelve-hour (12) shifts per calendar week
• Includes alternating weekends

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Medicine

Licensure, Registration, or Certification:

• Licensed in the State of Kansas by the Board of Healing Arts
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine required

Experience:

• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred
