Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Drivers License.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
• Clean driving record with no major violations, suspensions, or DUIs within the past 3 years.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance requirements.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 75lbs as part of loading/unloading duties (if applicable).
• Strong communication skills must speak and understand English (bilingual a plus English/Spanish).
• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours as required.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
  

Responsibilities:

• Delivering frozen seafood products to restaurants.
• Driving company owned trucks.
• Unload product using equipment like lift gates, hand truck, ramps, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel receipts, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as refueling, checking fluids, and reporting mechanical issues.
• Communicate with dispatcher, customers, and other team members to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Interact with customers in a professional manner, providing excellent service and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Adhere to all applicable truck driving rules and regulations, including federal and state requirements.
• Meet physical and mental requirements for driving a commercial vehicle, including good eyesight, hearing, and physical health.
• Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions.
• Navigate local streets and highways efficiently using GPS.
• Verify orders before each delivery and maintain a detailed, comprehensive delivery log.
• Communicate clearly with customers and food service employees, demonstrating an eagerness to work through any issues or points of confusion.
