The Learning Depot

The Learning Depot is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Floating Substitute Teacher to support our classrooms and provide high-quality care and education to our students. This flexible role allows you to step into various classrooms as needed, ensuring continuity and a positive learning experience for all children.

• Provide classroom coverage across multiple age groups when staff are absent.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and academic growth in both English and Spanish.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily transitions.

Requirements:

• Fluent in Spanish & English
• Eligible to obtain a NJ Substitute Certificate (required for district substitute assignments)
• Previous experience in childcare, early childhood education, or teaching preferred.
• Reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic about working with children.

Compensation:

• Pay is dependent on availability and credentials.
• Higher pay available for full-time candidates and those credentialed with a Substitute Certificate.
