ARE YOU A DOER OF THE WORD OR A DECEIVER OF SELF?

“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”
James 1:25 (KJV).

From the past weeks, the Lord through me has served you with insights and realities.
How committed are you in doing the word?
Do you just read to wait for the next day?
Whatever God teaches you becomes your responsibility.
When you receive a word from God, you must run with it.
Read these writings, is God’s vision revealed to you. You must run with it.
I shared on this platform, practical steps on HOW TO GET A SOUL SAVED; when are you going to put it to work.
Those who make a difference in the Kingdom, are those who act on the Word of God.
Have you read the PRACTICE OF LOVE?
How are you putting those teachings to work?
Don’t just be a hearer only, be a doer as well.
There are people who boast of things the Holy Spirit has told them. And for about 6 months they keep contemplating on whether to do it or not.
These people try to sound deep and highly spiritual.
But, it is unfortunate how they hear the Holy Spirit and decide when to take a step.
Many are puffed up by the things they have learnt but lack the discipline to do.
It is one thing to learn and another thing to handle or understand the revelation.
When you handle the truth of God’s word, it will move you into action.
After Peter (the apostle of our Lord), had preached on the day of Pentecost, there was the conviction of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of the people listening.
However, they didn’t sit hoping for someone to do something for them. They didn’t procrastinate at all.
As the word came to them, they were ready to do something.
See this:

“Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?” Acts 2:37

They didn’t argue with the message or to wait for another day to take action.
These men heard the message and were ready to put it to work.
There are so many prophecies, instructions and inspiring ideas the Lord has breathe into your heart.
You grow in manifestation by taking the right steps.
God’s Word comes to you to correct, govern your thinking and to supply you with the wisdom for action.
Until you become a doer of the Word, you cannot experience the glorious manifestation you have envisioned.
Don’t just be a talker, always locked up in your room praying and hoping that a miracle or something big will happen automatically.
We pray to receive grace and direction for action.
Which means after prayer, you must have definite accurate “to do-list”.
After Paul encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus, see the instruction the Lord gave him:

“And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest. And they that were with me saw indeed the light and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me. And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do“.

This was the beginning of God’s great move of Salvation and the expansion of the gospel among the Gentiles.
After that encounter with Jesus, Paul was told what to do.
Your manifestation is not just by revelation, it is by the revelation you act on.
Many who hear the Word only and refuse to be DOERS, are referred to as “deceivers of selves”. (James 1:22)
You may be thinking you are making progress but without actions, you will just be as a man swinging in a lazy chair.
Beloved, it is time for action. Take a step today and the Lord shall prosper your way.
DIG DEEPER:

(Matthew 21:28-32; James 1:21-25; Matthew 23:3; Joshua 1:8)

WE PRAY

That the grace of God will abound towards us, that we will not relent in taking steps and being doers of the Word.

BIBLE READING IN THE YEAR 2023

Day 47: Numbers 11-13

DECLARE THESE WORDS:

I do the word.
I exercise the wisdom of God to act on the word.
I refuse to procrastinate. I take steps as I am inspired by the Lord.
NB: Continue declaring specific things you are going to do this month and this year. Declare how you are putting all the words and ideas to work in the name of Jesus.
Shalom

Gloreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey
I have learned a lot from today’s daily revelatory thoughts as usual. I learned that as I walk with the highest God with patience and I should not be like the Israelite. I learned that I should be obedient and submissive to my parents in the Lord so that I do not suffer the consequences of disobedience to a father.I learned that whenever I am given an instruction by my father in the Lord, I must respond with urgency as the twelve spies. I also learned that I should not give account due to faithlessness or fear but rather by faith. I DO NOT SEE MYSELF AS A GRASSHOPPER WHEN I AM GIVEN A MINISTERIAL ASSIGNMENT.
I was convicted that I am saved by faith according to Matthew 21 ; 28 to 32. I must have a form of godliness but deny its power.
I AM A DOER OF THE WORD OF GOD.
I learned that if I want to see the manifestation of the word of the highest Lord, I must be a doer of the word and not only a hearer. As in the days of the apostles, the brethren acted upon what they were taught by the apostles and it manifested in their lives.
