THE FELLOWSHIP AND SOURCE OF TRUE WISDOM
“And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding beyond measure, and breadth of mind like the sand on the seashore”
1 Kings 4:29 (ESV)
There have been different opinions on what really is the source of Wisdom.
And the challenge has been the kinds of Wisdom.
(We will take a look into this later).
Some have defined wisdom as the application of knowledge.
Others also consider Wisdom as “the body of knowledge and experience that develops within a specified society or period.”
These make others think the source of TRUE WISDOM is the acquisition of knowledge either through books or any medium of knowledge and information among men.
TRUE WISDOM transcends the application of accumulated knowledge.
If Wisdom is the accumulation of knowledge, then the learned men with the highest degrees or doctorates from the highest universities of the world should be the wisest men on earth.
But that is not the case.
TRUE WISDOM IS IMPARTED.
WISDOM IS SPIRITUAL.
Spirituality is a practice of Wisdom. The higher your spirituality, the higher you exude Wisdom.
The highest peak of Wisdom is accessed at the highest point of intimacy with God.
This is why becoming a “Bible Scholar” doesn’t guarantee that, you have handled the Wisdom of God through the Scriptures. A doctorate in Theology is good, but it doesn’t guarantee the IMPARTATION OF TRUE WISDOM.
TRUE WISDOM, is the RICHEST and PUREST WISDOM. And this Wisdom is only from God.
Until God imparts you with His Wisdom, you cannot have access to the fellowship of His Wisdom.
This is because God is His Wisdom. You cannot separate God from His Wisdom.
David raised and taught Solomon, mainly to relate with God (1 Kings 2). Definitely, Solomon had some exposure to some information around him. Yet, he had to pray to God for Wisdom and understanding.
The scriptures are clear that the Wisdom of Solomon didn’t come from men nor the information he gathered while growing up.
Solomon prayed for Wisdom.
“And now, O Lord my God, you have made your servant king in place of David my father, although I am but a little child. I do not know how to go out or come in. And your servant is in the midst of your people whom you have chosen, a great people, too many to be numbered or counted for multitude. Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that I may discern between good and evil, for who is able to govern this your great people?” 1 Kings 3:7-9 (ESV)
And God responded:
“Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.” 1 Kings 3:12 (KJV)
No amount of information you gather will bring you into the fellowship of God’s Wisdom.
“For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:6 (KJV)
You can only come into the fellowship of God’s Wisdom by GOD Himself.

[17-18] Real wisdom, God’s wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced. You can develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity and honor.

Oh Glory! I’m so much nourished. I understood that true wisdom is imparted. James 1:5 confirms that the impartation of Wisdom comes from the Lord HIMSELF.
Oh! I don’t undermine my fellowship with wisdom (God). I cling to wisdom!

True wisdom is not by accumulation of information. It’s imparted.Widom acquired by accumulation of information has limited solutions but imparted wisdom is a womb of solutions.I give myself to true wisdom.Glory to God.

It is a profound blessing to understand that True WISDOM comes from only God and God alone.

Being a Bible scholar doesn’t guarantee that you have handled the wisdom of God through the scriptures , True Wisdom is imparted by God himself through our intimacy with Him.

mere mental exertion; it is discovering
God’s approach to every issue of life
This is because God is His Wisdom. You cannot separate God from His Wisdom.
God is His Wisdom.
The same way you can’t separate the word of God from God is the same way you can’t God from His Wisdom

WISDOM IS IMPARTED INTO ME!
You can gain knowledge through books and study.
BUT;
Wisdom is imparted by God Himself.
The wisdom of men is limited, I go for the wisdom of God.
So you can read the bible and still not gain wisdom.
I’ve met people who tell me they’ve read the bible and believe there is no God.
That’s complete foolishness.
I don’t just read the bible, as I read, wisdom is impacted into me.
That’s absolute FOOLISHNESS

The wisdom to raise an army for the Lord is imparted into me, in the name Jesus.

If wisdom was by knowledge from books then the great scholars with doctorate degrees and professors should have been the wisest.
Moreover Solomon obviously had some form of tutelage growing up as an heir. Hence making him very learned and intelligent. However when it came to wisdom he had to ask for it from God.
This emphasizes the truth that wisdom is not learned from books but it rather imparted.
Thank you Apostle Sir for this Epistle.
WISDOM IS SPIRITUAL

I climb higher spiritually
You can only come into the fellowship of wisdom by God himself.
WISDOM is God himself.
Wisdom is spiritual; It is imparted by God. It is not the application of accumulated knowledge.
The bible says: Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him(Deuteronomy 34:9).
God commanded Moses to lay his hands upon Joshua and wisdom was imparted. This means that the source of true wisdom is God himself. Hallelujah!
