REMAIN STEADFAST IN LOVE 1
“May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ.”
2 Thessalonians 3:5 (ESV)
It is one thing to come into awareness of a matter, it is another thing to grow in the knowledge of truth.
To come into knowledge is to become one with a reality. In the spirit, knowledge is richer and deeper than mental assent. Knowledge is a participation in truth.
We have seen some details of the Love of God, from Episode 10 to Episode 31.
We have seen God’s Love Language, how you are loved by Jesus, how to love Jesus, Jesus as our pattern of love, the new commandments of Jesus, how and what it means to keep His commandments, the intimacy of the love of Jesus, some further details on how to love one another, and then we even looked at some practical items of love.
These things we have discussed are not abstract at all. These are hardcore realities in God. It is the truth of God which harmonizes and upholds everything in the universe.
At the end of all things, we shall see His love as the conceptual force, the onrush and the acme of God’s eternal purpose.
“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony”
Colossians 3:14
The highest demonstration and mark of maturity of all things is LOVE, and that we experience true HARMONY.
See how its put in The Passion Translation:
“For love is supreme and must flow through each of these virtues. Love becomes the mark of true maturity.” (Colossians 3:14).
Jesus showed us this love.
After all things had come to its peak, what still remains and stands as the greatest is LOVE.
(1 Corinthians 13:13).
Beloved, our Lord Jesus is the embodiment of the greatest love. The greatest demonstration of the Love of God in the universe, the Kingdom and all eternity is Jesus.
No dominion, no power, no entity has measured up to show the great magnitude, of the astonishment of God’s love in all its extravagant dimensions. Our Lord Jesus brought to light the endless love, beyond measurement (the breadth, length, depths and the heights) which transcends all understanding.
Listen, when John the Apostle, Prophetically saw into the spirit, he beheld an intriguing activity of eternity.
One of the chapters of the Bible which reveals what delights and thrills the heart of the whole universe.
Patiently Look at this:
“And I saw that the one seated on the throne was holding in his right hand an unopened scroll with writing on the inside and on the outside, and it was sealed with seven seals. Then I saw an incredibly powerful angel proclaiming with a great, loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seven seals?” But no person could be found, living or dead, in all of creation—no one was worthy to open the scroll and read its contents.”So I broke down weeping with intense sorrow, because there was found no one worthy to break open the scroll and read its contents.

From the above scripture we see the brokeness of heart in all of the universe. None could open the seals. There was none to enable all creation to access the scrolls.
See the GOODNEWS:
“Then one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping. Look! The mighty Lion of Judah’s tribe, the root of David—he has conquered! He is the worthy one who can open the scroll and its seven seals.”
(Revelation 5:5).
This clearly speaks of Our Lord Jesus. However, Jesus did not demonstrate the immeasurable, endless fullness of the Love of God only as the Lion of Judah.
To demonstrate the extravagant dimensions of God’s Love, He has to be the young Lamb of God.
John the baptist saw Him and said,
” Here is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world “ (John 1:29).
Jesus was not only recognized as the lamb of God when He entered time. He is also the Lamb of God in all eternity.
See what John the apostle, saw:
“ Then I saw a young Lamb standing in the middle of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders. He appeared to have been slaughtered but was now alive! He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out to the ends of the earth.” (Revelation 5:6)
You see here that, the death of Jesus, as a slaughtered lamb, is a real matter in eternity. This is why an attempt to oppose the truth of His death in time, is to steal your eternal essence and joy.
The death and resurrection of Jesus, is not just goodnews for us in time. This is the greatest news in the universe. If one thinks, John the apostle wasn’t speaking of Jesus, see, chapters 1 into 2 of the book of Revelation.
Alright let’s move on to the glorious news of Love:
” I saw the young Lamb approach the throne and receive the scroll from the right hand of the one who sat there. And when the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures saw the Lamb had taken the scroll, they fell facedown at the feet of the Lamb and worshiped him. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls brimming full of sweet fragrant incense—which are the prayers of God’s holy lovers. And they were all singing this new song of praise to the Lamb:
“Because you were slaughtered for us, you are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals. Your blood was the price paid to redeem us.You purchased us to bring us to God out of every tribe, language, people group, and nation. You have chosen us to serve our God and formed us into a kingdom of priests who reign on the earth.” (Revelation 5:7-9)
Now we see the premise of being worthy to unlock the prophetic seals; HIS DEATH FOR US.
The death of Jesus is the highest sacrifice of love. We understood the extent of God’s Love through the death of Jesus.
” I demand that you love each other as much as I love you. And here is how to measure it—the greatest love is shown when a person lays down his life for his friends“ (John 15:12-13 TLB).
Beloved, this is it, this is the love the Lord directs our hearts into, as mentioned in the opening verse. This is the steadfastness of Christ’s Love. To remain in His love is to stand firm in the consciousness of this love demonstrated. And to persevere to walk in the power of this love (which is the GREATEST FORCE OF THE UNIVERSE AND ALL ETERNITY).
I believe your heart has been enlightened to see the power of the love of Christ.

WE PRAY
– That we will grow in the knowledge of the immeasurability, and endlessness of the Love of Christ.
– That we shall remain in the fullness of the Love of christ which is poured into is, that through us many will share in this glorious love which is the greatest news of the universe.

I am an agent of the love of Christ.
