ESTEEM DIVINE ASSIGNMENTS
” Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the Lord God.” 1 Chronicles 29:1 (KJV).
There are some saints in Christ who esteem their education, their job, their self-centered interests than the assignment of the Lord.
How do you see what the Lord tells you to do?
Anything God tells you to do, is great!
The assignments of the Lord benefit generations.
You have to see the Lord’s work with the eyes of your spirit and look into generations ahead.
David the king said, “the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the Lord God.”
What makes the assignment great is who the work is for.
You don’t value or esteem what you do for man than what what you do for the Lord.
Imagine being invited and tasked to represent a President of a country you esteem. You will definitely see it as a great task.
Whatever the Lord tells you to do, is a representation of Him.
The task given to you by God are things He had desired to do, and He is entrusting you with it.
Don’t belittle His assignment for you or the dreams He has put in your heart.
Your Heavenly Father’s joy is to see you do something great for Him.
I remember one time, during my teens, I woke up excited about a Church excursion. Whiles getting ready the Holy Spirit spoke to me not to be too excited about the excursion and the funfair. He was like He is calling me to do great things for the Kingdom. And that is also the call of every saint. He has not called us to do what the people of the world can do. (This is not to deny the importance of social or societal responsibilities or engagements).
However, I realised the Lord was redirecting my desires and how I perceive my walk with Him.
That morning, the Lord prompted me to read the book of Isaiah. Interestingly, I started with Isaiah 49.
I don’t think it was coincidence:
See what I found:
” The LORD said to me, “I have a greater task for you, my servant. Not only will you restore to greatness the people of Israel who have survived, but I will also make you a light to the nations so that all the world may be saved.*” Isaiah 49:6 (GNT)
Oh dear Lord.
This scripture opened my heart.
The moment I saw “I HAVE A GREATER TASK FOR YOU“, I was moved into prayer. My heart began to burn with fresh passion and my mindset about God’s Kingdom assignment was stretched or expanded.
All through the scriptures, anyone God called was made great. They were made great because the Lord did great things with or through them.
Beloved, you are called by the Lord into His greatness. Think greatness and take great steps.
Whatever the Lord tells you to do is great!
Esteem the Lord’s assignment for you.
It is a great thing to serve the Lord

DECLARE THESE WORDS:
– I am the workmanship of God created in Christ Jesus unto good works.
– Through God, I do valiantly.
– I increase in capacity and grace as I labour with the Lord.
– I esteem the Lord’s assignment for me than any self-centered desires.
– I take bold steps towards my kingdom assignment.
Oh Hallelujah, GLOREEEEY!
My! my! my!
The Lord has greater Assignment for me. We shall do valiantly through our Lord Jesus.
The work of the LORD is indeed a great work and has a transgenerational impact.
Whatever I do for the LORD, I am HIS KINGDOM AMBASADOR.
The LORD takes the primary place in my life.
The LORD indeed has greater works for us in HI KINGDOM AGENDA

I am a creative poem of God that has been called for greater purposes.
My work is prompted by faith, labor by love, and endurance is prompted by the hope of our Lord Jesus Christ.
With God, we do mighty things.
Psalm 108 verse 13 With God we will do great things; for by him will our haters be crushed underfoot.(BBE)

It is so amazing that King Hezekiah amidst all the persecutions went back to God and our faithful God was also faithful to HIm as seen in 2nd KIngs 19 verses 1 to and 6 to7.
2nd Kings 19 verses 1-3 When Hezekiah heard it all, he too ripped his robes apart and dressed himself in rough burlap. Then he went into The Temple of God. He sent Eliakim, who was in charge of the palace, Shebna the secretary, and the senior priests, all of them dressed in rough burlap, to the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz. They said to him, “A message from Hezekiah: ‘This is a black day, a terrible day—doomsday!
2nd Kings 19 verses 6-7 Isaiah answered them, “Tell your master, ‘God’s word: Don’t be at all concerned about what you’ve heard from the king of Assyria’s bootlicking errand boys—these outrageous blasphemies. Here’s what I’m going to do: Afflict him with self-doubt. He’s going to hear a rumor and, frightened for his life, retreat to his own country. Once there, I’ll see to it that he gets killed.’”
We should not allow the world or the adversary to intimidate us with their previous success or even attempt to scare us off by our previous failure.
We are rugged and dogged. Thank you, sweet Jesus!!! Kindly look you the scripture below for yourself-
2nd Kings 19 verses 8-13 The Rabshakeh left and found that the king of Assyria had pulled up stakes from Lachish and was now fighting against Libnah. Then Sennacherib heard that Tirhakah king of Cush was on his way to fight against him. So he sent another envoy with orders to deliver this message to Hezekiah king of Judah: “Don’t let that god that you think so much of keep stringing you along with the line, ‘Jerusalem will never fall to the king of Assyria.’ That’s a bare-faced lie. You know the track record of the kings of Assyria—country after country laid waste, devastated. And what makes you think you’ll be an exception? Take a good look at these wasted nations, destroyed by my ancestors; did their gods do them any good? Look at Gozan, Haran, Rezeph, and the people of Eden at Tel Assar. Ruins. And what’s left of the king of Hamath, the king of Arpad, the king of Sepharvaim, of Hena, of Ivvah? Bones.”
In as much as Hezekiah was saddened or afraid when he heard the evil report, he went back to God. As for us, we are always conscious that the HIGHEST GOD is with us.
2nd Kings 19 verses 14-15 Hezekiah took the letter from the envoy and read it. He went to The Temple of God and spread it out before God. And Hezekiah prayed—oh, how he prayed!
God, God of Israel, seated
in majesty on the cherubim-throne.
You are the one and only God,
sovereign over all kingdoms on earth,
Maker of heaven,
maker of earth
AND LOOK AT THE HAND OF THE LORD MANIFESTED.
2nd Kings 19 verses 35 And it so happened that that very night an angel of God came and massacred 185,000 Assyrians. When the people of Jerusalem got up next morning, there it was—a whole camp of corpses!

4-6 Isaiah, leaving, was not halfway across the courtyard when the word of God stopped him: “Go back and tell Hezekiah, prince of my people, ‘God’s word, Hezekiah! From the God of your ancestor David: I’ve listened to your prayer and I’ve observed your tears. I’m going to heal you. In three days you will walk on your own legs into The Temple of God. I’ve just added fifteen years to your life; I’m saving you from the king of Assyria, and I’m covering this city with my shield—for my sake and my servant David’s sake.’
WE INDEED HAVE A LIVING LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We must be careful at our actions and inactions. In as much as we serve a living GOD that is LOVE, there principles in GOD, we should not disregard.
2nd Kings verses 12-13 Shortly after this, Merodach-Baladan, the son of Baladan king of Babylon, having heard that the king was sick, sent a get-well card and a gift to Hezekiah. Hezekiah was pleased and showed the messengers around the place—silver, gold, spices, aromatic oils, his stockpile of weapons—a guided tour of all his prized possessions. There wasn’t a thing in his palace or kingdom that Hezekiah didn’t show them.
Look at the consequences
16-18 Then Isaiah spoke to Hezekiah, “Listen to what God has to say about this: The day is coming when everything you own and everything your ancestors have passed down to you, right down to the last cup and saucer, will be cleaned out of here—plundered and packed off to Babylon. God’s word! Worse yet, your sons, the progeny of sons you’ve begotten, will end up as eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.”
I take bold steps towards my kingdom assignment.
