Colossians 3:13 “Forbearing one another, and forgiving
one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: EVEN AS CHRIST FORGAVE YOU, SO ALSO DO YE”… This Is the present reality after the résurrection. The terms of condition have changed. You don’t forgive to be forgiven. You don’t love to be loved. You love as You have been loved. You forgive as You have been forgiven.
See also Ephesians 4:32 ” And be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, FORGIVING ONE ANOTHER, EVEN AS GOD FOR CHRIST’S SAKE HAS FORGIVEN YOU.” This is so beautiful. Beloved, the question is not “Will I be forgiven, when I forgive?”. The question now is”HOW MUCH HAVE I BEEN FORGIVEN?”. When you know how much you are forgiven, you will freely forgive. This is the New Testament upon which: your Life is grounded, marriage is rooted, ministry is raised, children are raised, relationships established and business is done.
